Knokken om de Kaap'' is the title of a documentary of 80 minutes on the illustrious history of the Rotterdam district Katendrecht. The main plot of the documentary is about the story of an ex - resident who decides to return to his native land after many years. During this trip, arises the memories of Katendrecht in front of him. The life experiences of the protagonist is put in a broader perspective by bringing the history of Katendrecht, as a village in this relationship ; the former Chinatown, the Tenderloin district and the later urban renewal district. The story is complemented by interviews with local residents who embody the memory of the protagonist.
