Het Welvaren

Every second Fridays of June take place the traditions of the land owners of ''de Gorzen en Aanwassen'', in Essche central. During this annual meeting, the policy of the polder is discussed. After the meeting, there is a meal between men held by the chairman of the delegation, who acts as a president with the most despotic power-so there is no trespassing-.Both the meeting and the ''men's meal'' are characterized by the pleasure to take care of serious matters such as the management of such organization. The talks and discussions that are brought up here are the starting point, and become soon interrelated to the story of the polder of de "Gorzen en Aanwassen van den Lande van Eessche''.
